Transportation

Arrival Information

Transportation services between the town and the airport are limited. Please make sure you plan your transportation ahead of time.

Estes Park is approximately a 1.5 to 2 hour drive from the airport depending on traffic. A regularly scheduled shuttle runs from Denver International Airport (DIA) to Estes Park six times a day.

If you are arriving on July 30th and departing on Aug. 7th, you can choose the airport shuttle service during registration and the cost will be added to your total bill. If you’re arriving or departing on different days, you can arrange airport shuttle service yourself on this website. Use group code “AGO22”.

The scheduled pickup times for the shuttle service to the YMCA are 8am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, 10pm on Saturday, July 30th.

Renting a car at the airport is another good alternative. While the YMCA has a lot of amenities on site, there is no regularly scheduled shuttle service to town (except for Wednesday, Aug 3rd when the congress will be providing shuttles to town.)

Taxis, Uber, and Lyft can take you from the airport to Estes Park, but you’ll likely have a problem finding return service back to the airport.
