Madison is located in south-central Wisconsin near Routes 90 and 94. It is approximately 150 miles northwest of Chicago (3-hour drive), 75 miles west of Milwaukee (1.5-hour drive), and 270 miles southeast of Minneapolis (4.5-hour drive).

Weekend Parking

Some free surface lot parking is available on the UW-Madison campus on weekends, though not adjacent to the dormitory or playing site. For example, the lot most likely available (Lot 34) is 0.6 miles from Memorial Union and 0.8 miles from Sellery Hall. The City of Madison’s State Street Campus Ramp, located 0.2 miles from the playing site, offers weekend parking at $8 per day.

Weekday Parking

Monday through Friday parking on campus requires a permit priced at $20 per day – permits can be purchased on the registration page. The weekday 24-hour rate for the State Street Campus Ramp is $27.50 per day.

Those who do not plan to use their cars during the Congress may want to consider parking available at the Dane County Regional Airport for as little as $6 per day.
