Home of the weird, freaky, interesting and curious, Ye Olde Curiosity Shop is a licensed museum and gift store. We have been in business since 1899, so we have collected quite the eclectic mix of treasures. We have interesting items for sale like jewelry made with real insects, butterflies in frames, or recyclable wallets.

Our museum of oddities and curiosities range from genuine mummies and shrunken heads (tsantsa), to a two headed lamb, to a four legged chicken. Our miniature collection comprises of a display of fleas in dresses, paintings on the heads of pins, and the Lord’s Prayer written on a grain of rice. Some of the more unusual things are: Sylvester, A perfectly preserved mummy.

Take the Dearborn St/James St exit, EXIT 164A, toward Madison St. 1.0 mi. Take the I-5 N exit on the left toward Madison St/Convention Center/Vancouver BC. Take the exit toward Madison St/Convention Center. 0.3 mi. Stay straight to go onto 7th Ave. 0.05 mi. Take the 1st left onto Madison St. If you reach Spring St. you’ve gone a little too far. 0.5 mi. Turn right onto Alaskan Way. Ivar’s Fish Bar is on the corner. 1001 ALASKAN WAY is on the left. If you reach Spring St you’ve gone a little too far.
