Team tournament with teams made up of one male and one female. The players may not consult with each other during the game. Players are placed at tables highest to lowest rank (depending on combined ranks) and each table has 4 pairs. After the first round, the winners play each other for first and second place at their table and the losers play for third and fourth place. The winner of the top table of adult pair go is the US Representative to the International Amateur Pair Go Championship.
