A tournament for those who just can’t bear not having a tournament game on the break day! Tournament starts at 9:00am on Wednesday, with the last game starting no later than 4:00pm.
Registration: Sign-up sheets will be available on Tuesday. Pre-registrants must check in no later than 8:45am. Walk-ins are allowed throughout the day.
Format: Arena Style: Win the most points by winning the most games. Players are re-paired immediately after their games conclude.
Rating Criteria: All games are rated.
Time Limit: 30 minutes per player; 3 periods of 30 seconds byo-yomi.
Handicaps: Most games will be played even, or close to even.
Rules: AGA rules. Komi for white is 7.5 points.
Winners: The top three winners in each division will receive a prize. Depending how many players show up, there will either be two or three divisions.
