Meal Plans
Separate lunch and dinner plans are available. These meals will be served buffet-style in the same building as the playing site. (Breakfast is included in the dormitory room price and served in a nearby dining hall.)
The lunch plan, which is priced at $60 ($10 per meal), includes seven lunches from Monday, July 15th through Saturday, July 20th. Note that lunch on Sunday, July 14, is included in the registration fee. See the tentative lunch menu.
The dinner plan, which is priced at $84 ($12 per meal), includes seven dinners from Saturday, July 13th through Friday July 19th. Note that the Congress banquet is on Saturday, July 20th. See the tentative dinner menu.
These plans provide convenient meals at reasonable prices. Madison has a large variety of restaurants within easy walking distance from the playing site. There are also places to buy food at the playing site as well as at food carts Monday through Friday. Therefore, although the meal plans, especially the lunch plan, offer excellent convenience for those who do not want to spend time away from Go, the location of the Congress makes it easy to obtain meals from restaurants and vendors.
Note: Breakfast is included in the room fee for those staying in Sellery Hall.
